Who is in the ASHEN working group?

The Australian Standardisation of the Hospital Emergency Number (ASHEN) working group has been formed with the aim of instigating and implementing standardisation across Australia of the HEN. The working group is inclusive and welcomes members from all interested parties. Currently it has the support and contains members of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC), Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) and Australian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) along with Disaster Managers and Emergency Management & Resilience Coordinators.

In moving forward, the group aims to continue to raise awareness of the issue, further develop a website to provide technical support to individual hospitals and facilities, collaborate with hospital and other governing bodies and deliver standardisation across the country.
