What’s your Hospital Emergency Number?

So far we’ve identified at least 51 different internal Hospital Emergency Numbers (HEN) across Australia.

Through collaborating with state health authorities NSW Health have standardised at 2222 starting in December 2018, Victoria are looking to standardise soon and several hospitals in the ACT have already upgraded to 2222.

Let’s help drive this standardisation across Australia for patient safety.

The map above shows the hospitals in NSW – if you’re Hospital isn’t listed we either don’t have the information or it does not use an internal hospital emergency Number

Green icons use the Hospital Emergency Number ‘2222’.

Amber use another number.

Red icons are hospitals we don’t have the information for

Grey don’t use an internal Hospital Emergency Number.

Let’s deliver Standardisation of the Hospital Emergency Number and make our hospitals safer for everyone. For more information please click here.

Thank you for your help. 😃
